The EVPA promotes the interests of the entire vending and out-of-home beverage sector, including the opinions, business activities and interests of vending operators, caterers, office coffee/beverage service (OCS) businesses and horeca outlets. EVPA members also represent European and International market opinion, reporting and informing on international exhibitions, events and fairs, background information on individual markets and news from around the globe, for the benefit of their readers.
The European Vending Press Association is at the heart of the vending industry. We don't just talk about contacts, we have them. Country by country, day by day, we are in contact with the industry’s specialists, from the global players to the national suppliers and regional operators. Maintaining these close links to our market helps us to contribute to building a better European and International vending business.
The European Vending Association launched its position paper on contactless payments in October 2009. Currently, the EVA is presenting the logo of the Cashless Vending Specification (CVS) for self-certified companies.
Lately, there have been some concerns about the use of Bisphenol A (BPA), which is found in certain plastics used in food and drink packaging. The European Vending Association has released an “FAQ” to clarify matters for its members in order to avoid potential disruption to their business activities and to allow their vending businesses to continue to operate smoothly.
The US-based vending association, NAMA, has recently released NAMA version 4.0.
